Matt was born in Georgia but grew up in a small town in NW Colorado, near Steamboat Springs. Growing up in a small ranching community, he made several lifelong friends and grew to know and help many of the local ranchers, one of his favorite things in the world is to gather and brand calves in the spring. To this day, Matt’s still helping some rancher put up hay or helping him sell a mule or two. Matt’s had quite a bit of experience in the construction industry as a young man until he found a career in the water well industry. Licensed in the state of Colorado to install and service water well pumps and has been in the industry for almost 17 years. Matt has cultivated some amazing friendships and relationships that he still hold’s with customers over the years and seldom, does he meet a stranger. Matt’s typically the guy they call when they need to know what fencing company to get a hold of or where to find the best place to get a certain feed or landscape guy or what excavating company to call.

He owned a small ranch north of Hayden, where he harvested hay, raised some cows and a pile of horses. Matt has been involved in rodeo in some fashion since he was very young and still has the curse of loving and competing in team roping. Matt and his wife enjoy the outdoors, her passion is fishing and you will usually find them on the river in a drift boat if he’s not on a horse somewhere. Matt’s knowledge of land and water and his ability to interact with just about anyone will have a lot to offer this wonderful business.
