Brian Kennon

Brian’s family has specialized in land and farm sales in southern Missouri since 1932. He gained a great deal of his land knowledge from working alongside his family and the exposure to the business growing up. Brian specializes in pasture, tillable and recreational land.

He received his bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from Missouri Valley College, in Marshall MO and a minor in Military Science from University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, MO. He served as a battalion staff officer in the US Army for 4 years and then in law enforcement for 15, with experience in local law enforcement as well as a federal investigator. His disciplined and rigorous background and training molded Brian into a top tiered land agent.

Brian gained a great deal of knowledge growing up helping his grandpa on their farm. Whether sorting cattle or cutting hay on an old 9N ford tractor with a sickle bar, this is where he learned a great deal of respect for the land and the farming community. Brian lives in Springfield MO with his wife, Timara and their 3 children. He is an avid waterfowl, deer, and turkey hunter. Brian enjoys spending his time with his wife and children outdoors, whether it’s trap shooting, golfing or catching crappie.
